You can tell just by looking at it.
(그냥) 딱 보면 알아(알 수 있어).
이 경우에는 know 보다 tell을 사용하는 게 더 자연스럽다.

I can tell ~ / you can tell ~

I can tell ~ - 나는 이렇게만 해도 알 수 있다.
you can tell ~ - 누구나 이렇게만 하면 알 수 있다. (일반적인 사실)
이 두 가지는 구분해서 사용하는 것이 좋다.

I can tell ~

A: Wow! This is a really nice pen.

B: How do you know? You haven't even used it.
써보지도 않았는데 어떻게 알았어?

A: I can tell just by looking at it. - (난) 보기만 해도 알 수 있어.
  : I can tell just by holding it. - 들어보기만 해도 알 수 있어. 
  : I can tell just by the desgin. - 디자인만 봐도 알 수 있어.

you can tell ~

예를 들어, (영국인이 아닌 다른 나라의) 어떤 배우가 영국 억양을 가진 캐릭터를 연기하는 상황에서
A: She's not originally from England.
저 여자는 원래 영국 출신 아니야.

B: Yeah, you can tell just by her accent.
= You can tell just by her accent that she's not originally from England.
맞아, 역양만 딱 들어도 (영국 출신이 아니란 걸) 알 수 있어.
just listening to her / just by hearing her 보다는 just by her accent로 간단하게 사용하는 게 더 자연스럽다.

You can tell just by the texture that it's real leather.
만져만 봐도 (질감만 봐도) 진짜 가죽이라는 걸 알 수 있어.

You can tell just smell that it's not real leather.
냄새만 맡아봐도 진짜 가죽이 아니라는 걸 알 수 있어.

You can tell just by tasting it that they used really good ingredients.
You can tell just by tasting it that it was made with really good ingredients.
맛만 봐도(먹어만 봐도) 정말 좋은 재료를 썼다는 걸 알 수 있어.

당연한 말이지만, 꼭 이 순서에 맞춰 이야기해야 하는 것은 아니다.
